ETS proudly marked its 10th annual conference with a spectacular celebration themed “Lungs Unbound: Charting Paths Beyond TB Recovery” on March 14, 2024, at the Haile Grand Addis Hotel in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The event was a grand affair, featuring cutting-edge scientific updates on post-TB lung disease, engaging panel discussions, and a compelling documentary highlighting ETS’s decade-long journey.
The conference commenced with an inspiring opening remark by H.E. Dr. Dereje Duguma, State Minister – Program Section, who contextualized the theme and emphasized ETS’s contributions and future direction. Dr. Yewelsew Kassie from USAID/Ethiopia Health Office delivered a keynote speech on past and future collaboration opportunities with ETS. Additionally, Mr. Wondu Bekele, Executive Director of MWECS, spoke passionately about the significant achievements of their partnership.
